i used to order from there a lot and get the food delivered a couple of months ago I put in a order and they sent over some long hair freak and when he got here he said he spilled the soup so I told him I would never order from there again I sure hope he paid for the food

We used to live right across the street on Silverstream in the St. Croix apartments about 15 years ago. We have moved up to the Salt Lake City area and we still have fond memories of going to eat at Chinese Village every week or two. The service amazing as was the food. The ambience was superb so we just don't understand why there is such a negative response from these people who have nothing good to say about the place. I'll guess that the first raters for this restaurant must have been sick in the first place and shouldn't have gone out to make others sick. Be responsible with your maladies, folks!

CRAP!!!
The food is HORRIBLE! We ordered General Tso's chicken and it was over cooked chicken with hot sauce. GROSS! The chicken finers were overcooked and chewy. The crab rangoons were mini frozen from the grocery store...the scorpion bowl cost $10 and had no alcohol in it. WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER EATEN IN MY LIFE.
To top it all off, we were both sick when we got home. :(

Takes just like New York's Egg Foo Young. You cant find it any where else like it. Wanton soup is great. Crab Rangoon is Delicious. We always take out. The food is great and many New Yorkers agree. New York's know good Chinese food when we taste it!!!
10/04/2009 - Disenchanted
Atmosphere in this restaurant is gloomy, bordering on hostile. There used to be a friendly Phillipina waitress, but she was replaced by an arrogant young Russian lady whose English is very difficult to understand. It took a long time to finally receive our food. While we were eating, a couple of small dogs came into the dining area from the kitchen! It turns out the owner, a very RUDE Asian lady, also owns a pet shop, and sometimes brings dogs in the restaurant's kitchen and her bar next door (Pandora's Lounge). The food was ok, but after the long wait to receive it, coupled with the bad attitudes displayed by the Russian waitress and the rude Asian lady who owns the place, together with the dogs in the kitchen, we do not recommend the Chinese Village.
