My husband and I had dinner there tonight. It was very tasty along with a beautiful presentation. Our server's name was Julia. She was awesome!!
Simply put, the food was good but the service was better.

Being from Maui, always looking for good local kine food !!! 9th island missed the boat !!! I ordered take out, brisket plate and Kalua pig and cabbage plate. the sides were huge scoops of 2 rice and 1 mac salad while the brisket had 3 thin strips of dry brisket and the pig was a small amount especially when comparing to the huge scoops of starches. the charge was $12.99 and $11.99 not including tax. so my bill for lunch for 2 was $24.98. the average Hawaiian would laugh at this amount of main dish. smaller scoops of starch and much larger amount of main dish would be much better. the kalua pig was ok in flavor but the brisket was very dry, i really wanted laulau but the were out. Island Flavors on Eastern is tons better in amount of food, taste and price.
