I have eaten at the tea room with different "sets" of friends. We all love the experience, the tea and the sampler plate! The owner and all the employees have a way of making us feel special. My daughter, granddaughter and I plan to go there in the near future to celebrate a family birthday.

This is one of my very favorite places to eat. My friends, family, and I come here often, and I get carryout when I just need a taste of their fantastic mandarin tea salad or strawberry soup. Theirs is about the only quiche I eat in restaurants, because I make it at home, but their is so good and they have so many flavors. My dad loves their sandwiches and their Brownie Pie. Their chicken salad is the southern kind with pecans, grapes, and celery. Their greens are always fresh and dry, not wet and soggy like so many other places. Their coconut cream, chocolate, and lemon meringue pies have mile-high meringue, and they're so light. They have pecan pie and Paradise pie (like Derby pie), and several fruit pies as well. I've never had anything here that I didn't like. The service can be a little slow but I think we all need to slow down and enjoy our food and company. I recommend this place very highly! By the way, the gift shop itself has closed; only the tearoom is still open.
