I will start off with saying the food i got was DELICIOUS when i finally got it, but the experience i had in this place was unreal in the WORST way.

I called about 30 mins ahead and ordered a creme brûlée. The girl on the phone said it would be ready whenever i got there, i told her i was about 30 mins away, so they didn’t have to rush, and she said that wouldn’t be an issue.

I get there and they are busy, but there are empty tables. My boyfriend and i are the first people to speak with the hoestess, i tell her i am there for a pickup order of crime brûlée. She said directed me to the bar, as expected (this has happened to me countless times.

THIS IS WHERE MY EXPERIENCE WENT DOWNHILL. I get to the bar and i am COMPLETELY ignored by the bartender. She sees me walk up and she does not say a WORD to me (pregnant blonde with a ponytail). The bar isn’t busy by any means at all, there are about 4-5 people sitting there, and what looks like an older bald man (found out he was the MANAGER) just chit chatting while she makes drinks. She makes about 5 drinks before i FINALLY get her attention and say “i just have a pickup order”. She SNAPS at me “i know I’ll get to you” and just goes back to making drinks. She makes about 3 more drinks before i start begging my boyfriend to leave. I have REALLY bad anxiety and don’t want to continue the interaction because this woman was SO UNPLEASANT. I go up to the hostess station and the girl immediately apologizes and I’m approached by a server who also apologizes to me. They then tell me they aren’t surprised i was treated this way by the bartender and when i ask to speak with a manger, I’m told i probably won’t get anywhere because “he’s right over there”. I look over and it’s the guy who was chatting with the bartender and they are both looking in my direction and just laughing and chatting still while she continues to make drinks.

They bring me my bill, finally. I pay, i tip the server who brought me that bill because she was VERY nice and the hostess was so sweet and honestly, i feel bad that they have to work in a crappy environment with the manager and the bartender.

~it took another 10+mins to get my food after i signed the bill~

THEY DID throw in an extra crème brûlée, but honestly, the fact that i was downright ignored and then treated SO poorly made for such an abhorrent experience that it just made me never want to come back. I’d honestly rather pay double and go someplace where i don’t get treated like i don’t exist.

If you’re looking for someplace with good food and an absolutely horrible experience, this place is for you!
