I visited this zoo on our second day in Omaha, just an hour's drive from Lincoln. I found it more enjoyable than the Omaha zoo, especially since it offered free entry and additional experiences like the train ride and giraffe feeding at a low cost. The train ride was a highlight, looping twice through a tunnel, and the giraffe feeding was a fun experience with large lettuce leaves for just $3.
