I apologize for the lengthy review but I assure you it’s helpful. This waste of prime boardwalk real estate does not deserve even one star. Management is wildly lazy, rude, and lack any and all common sense. The menu, if you can call it that is complete trash. The current menu is worse than ever offering no vegan options maybe two tolerable pescatarian/vegetarian options. The chef displays zero passion, will or work ethic.
Here’s one of many examples of how lazy one particular manager is, I believe his name is Tony, - picture it 12:30pm on football Sunday, bar full of people & all the TV remotes were MIA. Working for telecom, I suggested they download the cable app on an iPad or phone in order to use the remote in the app. All we needed was the account number located on the bill which Tony refused to go 100 feet into the office to get. Even after explaining to him how easy it was and that I would do it or walk him through it he refused. The MANAGER allowed a group of 15 people that were going to eat and drink all day LIKE WE DID EVERY SUNDAY to leave because we couldn’t watch football. IT’S APPALLING THAT HE couldn’t be bothered. It shouldn’t have surprised me being as he doesn’t lift a finger to help even when the bar is swamped.
**i feel compelled to note that the ONLY reason there was a group of 15 was because of one bartender. He was the only reason the bar wasn’t empty & unfortunately due to the piss poor management they lost an invaluable employee.

Another example of their incompetence, during the summer they have a frozen beverage machine that the stellar management team decided its home should be in the middle of the bar DIRECTLY ON TOP of the steaming HOT dishwasher, so needless to say the “frozen” drinks are never frozen, Instead you’ll receive a nice watery glass of sugar water.
After endless complaints, they refused to move it.
The “menu” is a running joke amongst staff and regulars. After watching countless potential customers and regulars walk out we quickly realized that “management” could care less about their customers, the business they should be striving to improve each and every day and we meant less to them than gum on the bottom of your shoe. It did make for a fun drinking game - shot for every walk out.

My experience at the Allegria last Saturday was absolutely delightful. The spicy margaritas were crafted perfectly by the talented bartender, Robert. The service was impeccable, and the ambiance of the location overlooking the ocean was simply unbeatable. I can't wait to return all summer long and enjoy more of their classic dishes!
