Tried the Portuguese custard tart here and was lucky to get one fresh out of the oven-the crust flaky and buttery, with just the right custard balance, though the pastel de nata I took home warmed up tasted more egg-like than creamy. The Portuguese corn bread, Broa, is a standout with its crispy crust and soft, slightly sweet inside, perfect for a hearty sandwich. The bakery also offers Brazilian treats like crispy coxinha and sweet brigadeiros, and while service can get hectic during busy times, the friendly staff and fresh, tasty pastries make it worth the wait.

I tried out a custard tart, mixed fruit cake, and a pineapple muffin. The custard tart was my favorite - fresh batch, buttery crust, and just the right custard consistency. The fruit cake was a bit dry, but the pineapple muffin with its paste was a better choice. Overall, they offer a good variety, and I plan to return for more treats.
