I visited this establishment because it was offered as one of the restaurants to receive a discount from a website.

The atmosphere is that of a local watering hole with nice napkins.

The service was not happy to receive my discount coupon upon my arrival.

We ordered mussels as an appetizer, the fresh Tuna entree, the seafood bisque, a salad, and had every intention of ordering dessert, well over the 50 dollar limit the website coupon would have required.

The presentation of all of the food was nice, but upon tasting the mussels had a very strong flavor of herbs and possibly age. The seafood bisque tasted as if it had been on the stove too long and my guest asked to have something else in it's place...the fried calamari appetizer. The tuna was overcooked and hurt the roof of my mouth to eat, and also tasted somewhat old. When I asked if it would be possible to have something else in it's place, I was reminded by the manager that I am required to make a purchase at the establishment of over 50 dollar limit. As I was noticeably insulted, she manager retrieved the owner which also was the chef.

The owner proceeded to tell me that he has been making the same food over 11 years and that I can't just come into the place "wanting to sample things."

I guess I should have ordered a burger.
