10/07/2009 - OVERBOOKED and OVER PRICED... Good food when you make it to a table

I am a frequent visitor of NYC restaurants as well as great restaurants in Long Island, My husband and I took our friends out and we were extremely embarrassed when our 8:30 reservations turned into us being seated at 9:45!! We were the last people there at 11:10 finishing out "complimentary dessert" due to a long wait...who wants dessert so late?!
We were offended many times throughout the night when we were asked on 2 different occasions to sit right by the bar where a live band was playing along with drunk older women dancing/stumbling next to the table.
Don't go there Friday night, there's a live band that completely takes away from the classy, quiet and trendy ambiance. This was my 2nd and last time at Cool Fish, I loved it there the 1st time but their over booking made me never want to return. If you do go, make sure they aren't hosting any rehearsal dinners or bridal showers that night!!!
