Delicious bagels and much more. Quick service and delivery.

I work in a small office with a dozen or so other people. Every day would begin with someone(usually me) running around the office, asking everyone if they want anything from that "bagel hole". Sometimes everyone would order, sometimes a few of us. Our daily check would be anywhere from $15 to $60. This does not count the days we got our lunch from there. This place would get $100 a week from me alone(which i believe is quite a bit for a bagel store)/

The last time i ordered from there, using their web site as usual, one of the items on the order was a western omelette for my boss. Their website, on some items, is broken. When choosing a western omelette, it asks for a "sandwich type". We wanted a platter... so i put in the notes that i don't want this as a sandwich, just want the eggs. It seems they took that TOO literally, as they sent me 3 scrambled eggs... and that's it. They still charged me for the western omelette!

When i called up, I dealt with some wise guy, explaining that i need to learn how to internet. Finally, after arguing for several minutes about who is at fault, i finally raised my voice and asked "fine... i understand the error is mine. I do not know how to use the internet. will you give me what you actually charged me for?" - to which he responded with "NO!".

After more arguing, he finally agreed to make us a western omelette, as long as i give back the 3 eggs he had gave us originally when the driver got to me. I agreed and 10 minutes later, the driver came over. I thanked him for his years of speedy service(he really is a great delivery guy) and tipped him $10. I explained i'll never see him again, and if his boss wants to talk about it, he is welcome to call me. Driver asked what was wrong, and i explained it has nothing to do with him... but to please explain to his boss that no one from my building will eat from there again. I didn't get a call, nor was i expecting one.

The moment the driver left, we threw away that omelette. After all the arguing, and the attitude, i was convinced that the chances of someone spitting in the food was quite high. There was no way I could serve that to my boss.

So... a couple of months have passed. Each morning, we order breakfast. Time to time, someone mentions "that bagel hole", where someone else would comment with words i probably cannot use on yelp.

Good job, people. In one day, you took a loyal customer(like me) you had for years and changed them to people who tell other people about how awful you are. all over a western omelette.... but i guess you made your point, as i spend my money elsewhere, and telling others to do the same.
