Have been eating there for years and really enjoy their food. Lots of fresh salads to choose from, I really enjoy Beach Pizza and have eaten at the Manhattan Beach store as well. Prices are reasonable, I recommend them.

Best. Pizza. Ever. I live 40 minutes away and don't think twice about driving out to eat there.

sure the girls here have attitude. but one of them is hot. i would marry her.

The food is great. I usually order the Buffalo-Style Chicken Pizza, and it is amazing...especially if you are a fan of buffalo wings. The tuna salad and the Maui Wowee Pizza are both good choices as well. As for the service, well, I just think that the girls who work there are stoned all of the time, and that's why they are rude. I sometimes get delivery or sometimes pick it up, and I've never had an issue. The atmosphere is not the best, but they do have great prices for pitchers. The food is kind of pricey for the look of the place, but it's worth it. Also, I agree, the surfer painting is awesome.

the service was great.

the people are all friendly, and its funny how you see only latinos working there. i mean hire some black ppl foo!but its nice, they are all fun.

the manager is gay, he doesnt speak up for himself, he always has the waitresses do all the work. and dpes he even speak english? who knows.

the boss is very nice, i like his style although i would perfer him having a full head of hair. i wouldnt mind him taking me out to eat at one of the beach pizzas.

ultimately, the beach pizza in playa del rey is the best.

the people rock!

The food is good but, you pratically have to beg to get service. Forget about getting a refill or getting silverware. I had to even ask to get the bill. I would go there more if the service wasn't so incredible sh-tty.

Thank goodness for Beach Pizza. Great food, Great prices, Awesome service with a smile. I do admit that the restaurant isn't the same as the Four Seasons or the Ritz Carlton but what do you want. I'd much rather have cheap great food and a atmosphere that isn't spectacular but isn't bad instead of jacking the prices up so they can make the atmosphere better. Wouldn't you?. Compared to any of the other local Pizza joints in Playa Del Rey, Beach Pizza ROCKS! I like to do my laundry next door and grab a bite at Beach Pizza right next door. It definitely makes doing laundry a lot less of a burden! They even deliver to me while I'm doing my laundry-talk about service!!!

I eat their pizza all the time, usually I order for delivery. I think the pizza is very good, I keep ordering it. I've never had anything other than the pizza so I can't comment on that. They deliver until late which is cool. The store itself is small and not very appealing. The best thing in the store is this painting of a surfer dude on his board with a pizza, that's the only good thing about the store.

My friends eat the pizza too and none of us have ever gotten sick. Those people who complained about the food ordered the wrong thing. Just order the pizza.

This place is great. Forget everyone who says "oh no this food is that and that food is this"...they dont know real food...great place for a hangover...and cheap pitchers too...the on in manhattan beach is good service but i dont know about the one in manchester...try it out...chicken salad is good...buffallo pizza is unreal...so good...so screw off bitchessssss

It's the worst food I've had in years.
The chicken parmesian is a tasteless joke. Some cheap deep fried breaded crap with canned tomatoe sauce over tasteless penne pasta.

The sausage sub was just as bad.

and the chocolate cake was Safeway fair for twice the price.

I never write something like this. You guys need to get a grip on the stuff you're serving and calling food...

Not only is the service awful, but worst of all the way the food is prepared is completely unsanitary. My boyfriend and I had ordered a pizza to go and one of the toppings was sundried tomatoes. We'd ordered take out before with the same topping and when we got home the sundried tomatoes were missing. So when our order was up we checked inside the box to make sure that the sundried tomatoes were atop the pizza. None were to be found so we mentioned it politely to the girl behind the counter. She apologized and said it would be just a minute. To our shock, she reached atop a shelf and pulled down a plastic tub of sundried tomatoes (the kind that need to be reconstituted in order to be served) and reached her hand directly into the tub and placed the sundried tomatoes on the pizza. She had no gloves on and she had just been handling cash and wiping down counters. We mentioned this to her and she told us very rudely that is always the procedure. We decided to just get our money returned rather than risk the possibility of food poisoning. If that is the way they prepare things in front of customers I can only imagine what goes on in the back kitchen. I'm shocked this place has a good rating by the Health Department. Maybe when it's time for a health inspection they clean up their act?

This pizza place has very nice people who take orders and they are very fast. Pizza is good, get it to go or for delivery.

This place has great pizza and great service. I love going there! Everything on the menu is great and I always get a thank you from the girl behind the register! I would suggest beach pizza to anyone!

review_stars 03/03/2007 - beach is o.k.
+1 on the above comment. thats why i never give a tip. especially for take out. the girls at the register are straight bi#ches.

I'm a big fan of their food, but always delivery....which is sad. I would like a nice place to go grab a pizza and a pitcher and the interior of Beach Pizza is disappointing. The setup is cold and uncomforable. I'd recommend take out or delivery.

This restaurant has a very good chopped salad.
Their pasta dishes are good. Their pirces are fair but the salad is a bit overpriced.

Thier service is terrible. I have been to Beach Cities several times and not once did I get a simple "Thank You" after paying.

The girls at the cash register have no pubilc relations skills what-so-ever. I live just a few blocks away and I think that any loacl restaurant
should hire people who have some people skills.
If they are tired of their jobs, then they should quit.

I felt I should be thanking them for letting me spend my money in their restaurant. There are too many good places around and from now on I will
go to them. My last visit to Beach Cities was the last. I will never go back again.

Hire some good people who know how to simply
say "Thank You".
