The sushi is really good. They always have a smile on their faces when you walk in. There sushi is really good especially the crispy rice with spicy tuna.

This is the original Katsu-ya and also the least pretentious. Get there early or make a reservation or expect a serious wait. Everything is amazing, the fish is super fresh and always spot on. Service is quick and friendly. There are tons of staff all over the place.. Once you are seated, you won't be waiting.

Great sushi! It's a Valley favorite. We've been here tons of times and it's always very crowed and you'll probably have to wait for a table, but it's worth the wait. You may even see a celebrity.
Everything here is excellent. The service is usually good, maybe a little rushed, but that's the nature of the place. It's located in a strip mall along ventura, but don't let that fool you.

Great sushi and very reasonably priced. Always a wait and you need to make reservations days in advace, but worth the wait. Go here if you want consistently delicious sushi. Even Gwenyth Paltrow named it as her fave sushi restaurant in LA. Enough said...if GP loves it, so will you.

The food here is amazing. I consider myself an avid sushi go-er and this is one of the best (esp. for its value). If you go, you must try the crispy rice and spicy tuna. It is incredible! Highly recommended, just expect a wait.
