The portions are generous, the green sauce adds a perfect spicy kick, and the service is friendly and efficient, making takeout my usual choice given the parking challenges and busy atmosphere. Mario's is the best Peruvian restaurant in California.
Now the service from the waitress's is BAD!!!
FYI Mario's has a second location in LA MIRADA city,the food and service are both GREAT!!!!

Mario's is by far the best Peruvian food I have come across in Los Angeles. I am originally from Lima, Peru and this is as close to home cooking as one can get. If you want to truly taste what Peru has to offer I suggest Mario's. The ceviche mixto has a perfect balance of acidity and almost breaks apart in your mouth. Mario's doesn't have the best ambiance or waiters but there is a wait every day of the week, which should be an indicator of the food's quality.

Food is GREAT!!!!!!! But the service and attitude from the watress's is horrible.

This restaurant is very plain inside and usually chaotic from all the people waiting in line for a table, but the food is amazing. I love the Lomo Saltado and the Ceviche de Pescado!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it.
