Love this place! Love the atmosphere and the service! Great prices as well. We try not to tell too many people because it is just the place to relax and take a much need break from a hectic work place!

All the reviews here are great, but I wanted to post my opinion of the ambiance. I really love it there. My friends from work and I have a late lunch around 2pm and it's usually pretty empty. It's small, so not a lot of tables, but when there aren't a lot of other customers it's quite cozy. I love the quirky music they play there and the light filtered through the bamboo shades really makes me happy. This is my favorite restaurant. Great people, great food, great place! :)

Good food - cheaper and better than at the Embassy Suites just east on Imperial and a nice walk if you're staying there. Fast Japanese food if a bit on the oily side for my taste. Best to eat your meal out on the patio rather than inside - not very much room and the ambience leaves much to be desired. A very clean and neat place and so are the serving personnel. Has a neighbourhood feel about it. Not licenced but a person could go across the street and bring back a bottle of beer/wine to enjoy with the meal.

When I call my order in, they even recognize my voice now. They are like the family next door. They always use fresh ingredients. A good solid menu and they always have some good smutty 'Star' or 'Enquirer' magagzines to read while you wait, which is never very long. They are pretty fast for the level of quality. I get take out every Monday. I always look forward to my 'Maki Yaki Monday'. Not a great place for eatting in though. I would suggest it for take out though.

This is the best Japanese takeout I have ever had. It is fast and tastes great, and the service has always been wonderful!!!
