Restaurant Description
Step inside Il Fornaio and take a culinary journey through Italy. Early mornings bring rustic, crisp crusted bread hot from the oven accompanied by the scent of fresh brewed espresso. During lunch and dinner hours, pastas and flavorful sauces simmer while meats and vegetables roast over hot coals. Bottles of wine from small, regional wineries are uncorked to complement the dishes, which have been crafted in the custom of Italy's chefs, bakers and homemakers. In the tradition of Italy's trattorias, the sight, sounds and aromas of authentic Italian cuisine are recreated fresh everyday at Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana.

Chose Il Fornaio for its central location to meet friends, had not been there in many years but willing to chance it; big mistake. The food was not even up to Olive Garden in presentation nor preparation. It was cold, the cheese garnish was not hot and melty but a congealed .....lump awful! sauce on the pastai was blahhh. Pizza crust was not edible. Had to beg for bread...soup, cold. With less than 2 drinks the squash ravioli would bd inedible. A big fat disappointing meal.
