Wow....one of the worst "Mexican" restaurants I've been to. Old & dirty inside the restaurant and the food was awful. I've been there twice, in order to try something different so as not to judge too quickly. Both attempts left me nauseated. The rice is dry and the beans are as runny as a river. The main dish was tasteless and seemed to have the consistency of something from a can. The chips were stale....in fact the only thing that was tasty was the salsa. The one great thing about this place?? The service.....our server was very attentive and friendly. Would I go back? Nope.

Maybe I am biased having just moved from the Bay Area and expecting better "authentic" mexican food. I have eaten there twice and my opinion on the quality of the food hasn't changed. Ground beef and the carne asada for tacos and burritos was gross. There was no seasoning or flavor to the food. I could make better mexican food with a Lawry's spice envelope I buy at the grocery store. Will not be eating there ever again. People are very nice but the food is gross. Salsa tastes like Pace (jar) salsa. Not impressed with the food at all.

With El Segundo being so close to LAX, this is usually the first stop I make after getting my luggage. Best Mexican food in the South Bay voted by readers of the local newspaper, the Daily Breeze. Try their "Junior Super Deluxe" burrito, or their chicken tacos are outstanding. If you are not used to Los Angeles Mexican food, you need to get a "Orange Bang" to wash it down with.
