The Food is excellent and the service is top notch. The owners and their daughter keep this place running like a swiss watch. I don't know what Review mikes problem is, but the owners daughter does a spectacular job!

Side note.... most patrons of this facility tend to act like snobs or like pretentious children. I was there the other day when the daughter was working alone and about 30 people rushed into the place. She handled it with precision and speed. I'm actually more annoyed with the rude and downright unsavory attitude the clients gave this young lady who tends to work alone.

Wow.... just WOW. The food here is SPECTACULAR! I wouldn't think of ordering this kind of Italian food anywhere else. The folks who run this place keep it really clean and their prices are really reasonable for the quantity of food you get.
I use to have a Fave ital place back home in Tx, but since I had to come to Cali for work I kind of just stumbled upon this place and have been coming back for more! Don't know what the reviewers issues are with the Daughter of the owners, she hustles to get those orders out as accurately as possible. But something with these California people especially in this area, they just need to learn to relax.

If I could give it 6 stars, I would. And I'm an Italian who lived in NY til I was 13.
Have to agree that it's not quite as good if the old man is out, but still great even then. And the daughter CAN be kind of rude sometimes, (not always).

Don't know about the last guy's who was complaining about the daughter. He must be some a-hole from the area. I have never had a problem ordering from these folks. Their food is top notch and they are some of the nicest people out in this city.

So, to the last reviewer, you must be a d--ch- to feel you got bad service.

Usually 5++ star quality pizza and other food.
Sometimes the old man who runs the place is out for the day and leaves his daughter in charge, and the food quality takes a bit of a drop in quality and service. (If she's taking your order, don't bother ordering double on any of your toppings. She'll charge you for double, but give you the regular amount. And if she gets your order wrong, she'll act like its your fault.)
But FANTASTIC place when the old man is around to keep things in check.

Such yummy, yummy, yummy Italian food. I grew up in an Italian family eating homemade food and that has made it tough for me to find a red sauce that I think tastes good...this is great! The prices are very reasonable, the food is delicious, and the owners are very sweet can't ask for a much better combo!

I go over ti "Viva La Pizza" quite often for lunch. You can always count on good food and friendly service! I highly recommend Viva La Pizza for everyone!

I have had a lot of Italian food before, but this food rocks compared to a lot of other places. Normally they are really busy, so ordering food can be a hassle. But it's worth the wait. The lunch crowd is insane. Sometimes I can't even get a seat, but who cares! The prices are really decent, and in this crappy economy I'm glad someone isn't killing us. Sometimes they are too cheap compared to others. I would eat there daily, but I just don't have the time. Sadly they are a family run restaurant so they really don't have any help and the few times they have had people working there, they screwed up my order, gave me the wrong change or completely messed up my food. The dinner crowd ain't too bad. I usually pick something up after work. The one girl who works there seems to be the only competent one there. I have watched her a few times, she answers the phone, takes peoples orders (who usually take forever ordering) and she gets stuff ready for delivery. And that's in the manner of about 3 minutes! I wish people I worked with worked as hard as she did. I will keep ordering and eating there amazing food as long as they keep the doors open. And I hope they never close, even though I have heard the old guy working there say to a few people that he has thought of it.

Cute looking Lady works there, making the environment that much nice. A little Chaotic with the Decor, but the food completely offsets that. The other customers also make the place interesting to visit, they are probably some of the stupidest customers in Southern California. Homemade taste and well worth the price. Crappy location, corner of Prospect and PCH makes it hard to find the place and parking is a pain in the a$$. Dinner time is a better time to eat there, lunch has too many morons who eat all the slices. Just damn good food!

Great food, nice people. Never had any problems with service. Pot heads, drunks and moronic high school kids make going to eat here annoying. Do yourself a favor, buy the food and take it to go. Store closes at different times, but I guess it depends on when they are busy.

Love their PIzza!! We have tried a bunch of pizza places in our office and we love viva la pizza -- They are the ONLY place that has pizza sauce I actually like!!
