El Gringo serves up seriously tasty Mexican dishes that always hit the spot, especially their xcholti soup-a flavorful chicken concoction with onions, cilantro, avocado, and rice, plus a tortilla on the side that's downright addictive. The vibe is casual and lively, with friendly staff (shoutout to Whitney!) who make you feel right at home while you enjoy fresh, vibrant flavors and salsa that packs just the right punch. Whether grabbing takeout or squeezing into the cozy dining area with sports playing on flat screens, this place delivers a consistently satisfying experience that keeps me coming back for more.

El Gringo is a local favorite for my family - the food always hits the spot and Whitney, one of the servers, is a joy. It's not a fancy place, but it's perfect for a casual meal or takeout. The xcholti soup is a must-try - hearty chicken soup with onions, cilantro, avocados, and rice, served with warm tortillas.
