Sad to see it is gone. I Haven't been to the restaurant since Dec. 01 1974. That was my wife and my anniversary.
It was memorable for another reason.
That night was extremely stormy so there were few diners. One group was seated after us at the next window table.
It was John Lennon, Ringo Starr, George Harrison, Yoko Onto and Phil Specter.
Made for a memorable date almost 50 years ago.
