We took my wife's out-of-town brother here. He and I ordered the chuck burger with blue cheese. The burgers were over cooked and tough and the onions were beyond caramelized...they were almost burnt. Our fries were just 'okay' but they in fact turned out to be the best part. My wife ordered one of the pasta specials...some sort of saucy fettuccini that is preceded with a nice salad and then followed with a desert.

The service was very slow. We had been seated for about 5 minutes before a waitress came to our table to take our drink and appetizer (mushrooms in a thick sauce thing)order. As she placed the appetizer on our table the spoon on top of the sauce slid sideways and submerged completely in the sauce. She never returned to replace the spoon or offer us an extra napkin to clean up the mess.

Meanwhile, a couple was brought in and seated across the aisle from us...they placed their orders, ate their complete dinners, and paid their tab before our food ever got to us. Then our burgers finally arrived. We had to wait another 3 minutes for my wife's dinner to arrive but it was only the pasta. There was no salad to precede it. I asked the waitress where the salad was and she asked, "Oh, do you still want your salad?" My brother-in-law both replied, "We paid for it, yes, she wants it." In which she then said as she nodded toward the kitchen, "Well, it's right in there if you still want it." "Would you mind walking in there and getting it for her?" I asked. "Not at all," she replied, as if this was a novel idea.

At the end of our meal my wife asked the waitress for a cup of coffee to go with her desert. The coffee arrived...but no desert. We had to remind our waitress once again that desert was part of the dinner special my wife ordered. Our waitress couldn't remember which desert came with that special. My wife had to remind her.

While all this is going on, I watched a lady dressed in a nice business suit sit down at the bar and order some food to go. After constantly looking at her watch for 45 minutes along with a glass of wine her take order was placed in front of her. Although she politely paid for her order we all could tell she was very annoyed with the slow and inconsiderate service.

The bottom line is: my wife and I have been there twice before. The first time we took my brother and his wife there, the second time we took my sister and her husband there. On both occasions the food was okay, not terrific, the noise was very loud as we could barely hear ourselves, the service was very slow and the prices were much too high for what we got. And on this third time even the food sucked.

We are convinced of one thing. The owner doesn't really much care. Therefore, the waiting staff doesn't much care. And we don't care at all if we ever go back there, which we won't, because we think we, along with our relatives and friends, deserve better than what this place, in every category, has to offer.

Food is good but service is poor, especially for take out. Called in a tuna salad to go which was not ready 45 minutes later. Had to wait 20 minutes there for it, got back home to realize that there was no tuna in the salad and the lettuce was yellow. Also missing a fork (though I had a knife and spoon). Waited another 30 minutes for them to special deliver another salad. Had tuna this time but still some spotted yellow lettuce. Oh well. I guess I'll pick those out.

Great service and interesting menu make this a great place to go for a cozy dinner. The selections are very different and interesting. It is a bit pricey but it's a nice experience. The atmosphere is wonderful! The lemon chicken and pumpkin ravioli were both great.

Excellent, unique selection for a mid-range price. I love their take on the classic "meatloaf" and they have a mouth watering sour cherry lemonade! Do not skip dessert, they have a fine, though limited selection. Partake in the childhood reminiscent warm chocolate chip cookies with a tall glass of milk.

Over-priced mediocre food.
