I stopped by just before noon craving breakfast and was immediately impressed by the authentic Salvadoran flavors that brought back memories of my grandmother's restaurant in Sonsonate. The food, especially the perfectly done Sopa de Pata and the calabaza pupusas with plantains, was consistently delicious, though the service was quite slow and unhurried, which can be frustrating if you're in a hurry. The interior is simple and unadorned, but the fresh, flavorful dishes make the wait worthwhile, and I'll definitely be returning for the nostalgic taste of home.
