As someone who's been tough on BBQ for decades, this restaurant impressed me with flavorful ribs, tender chicken, and well-prepared sides like potato salad and BBQ beans. The atmosphere is simple, and the staff, especially longtime server Javier, consistently deliver friendly and attentive service even during busy times. While the cornbread muffins were a bit dry for my taste, the quality and taste of the meats more than make up for it, and I look forward to trying more items like the brisket and turkey on future visits.

Having lived in Kansas City for 40 years and being particular about barbecue, I was pleasantly surprised to find this restaurant while working in the area. The food, especially the ribs and sides like potato salad and BBQ beans, was impressive, and despite a minor issue with the cornbread, I look forward to returning to try more of their offerings.
