It took me a long time to discover this authentic Chinese restaurant with its ornately carved ceilings and calm atmosphere, though I wish there was some Chinese music playing to enhance the experience. The Szechuan Twice Cooked Pork blew me away and became the most memorable dish I've had all year, while the cold dishes and appetizers like boiled pork intestine and spicy fried chicken kept me coming back for more. Despite the dated decor and occasional variations in flavor, the generous portions, reasonable prices, and authentic Yunnan specialties make this a favorite whenever I crave real Chinese cuisine.
