We waited over 1 hour 30 minutes on 2 sandwiches and they waited till we was at the register about to leave before they was like we putting the chicken on the sandwich now. There were people that came in after us got their food and leaving and we still waiting on 2 sandwiches vs other larger complex orders, then even after telling us they putting the chicken on one of the sandwiches, where was the other one? To add, during waiting, the waitress just kept murmuring our order will be out soon without even stopping to talk to us directly, then it took her 30 minutes after the 2nd time passing to notice my wife ran out of dr.pepper. They offered us a discount after we was about to walk out the door, still never seen the sandwiches tho. I suppose that waitresses friends came first and actual orders 2nd but believe it had to be a color thing too becouse she only mentioned my wife’s sandwich and not mine.

Been eating at Lakewood over 30 years, best fried shrimp and homemade onion rings anywhere!!
Coleslaw is amazing.

I live in Illinois (for work NOT by choice) I come down to visit family and to eat at Lakewood's. Great food and friendly people. Been going there for the last 10yrs.
