Hot wok was awesome but they have changed owners and the name its now No.1 Kitchen its terrible the food was horrible!!!!

My husband and I are not from here and back home we stick to 1 particular chinese restaurant. We are picky when we eat chinese. We are in Slidell on business and we had a taste for chimes. So we decided on hot wok delivery to our hotel. It took about 35 min for our f poop od but it was hot, fresh and taste really good. I got the beef and v egestables and he ordered the shrimp fried rice. It was plently of food and we definitely suggest this for others to try. We will most definitely order hot wok again.

Chicken was a little dry but over all pretty good.
I love the fact that they deliver as well.

Food is good. Portions are huge. Prices are awesome. Excellent quick place. As previously said .... Its just the guy taking your orders that is horrible. Whole thing reminds me of the Soup Nazi on Sienfeld. If you can get past him it is totally worth it.

This place is really good, with good prices. The only thing keeping this from 5 stars is the order guy. He is always upset and impatient and frequently hangs up on people if he feels that you take too long to order. If they got someone else to work the counter/phones it would be the perfect Chinese restaurant.

The food is always good and it is hot, fast & cheap! They deliver orders over $10. but here's the only down side... the cashier/guy who answers the phone always sounds aggravated, like why are you bothering him with this? It's worth it, he really hates it if you ask for a substitution :)
