Veal Parmesan was burned on bottom--covered up. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE TASTE! Waitress so nice! Music by Cindy Great!

We were very unhappy with our first visit to the Italian Bowl. Upon arrival, we were waiting at the host station and we overheard the host tell a guest the potential wait time. Obviously the guest stated the wait was too long and was about to leave when the host told them it they wanted fast food that McDonald's and Burger King were down the road. That should have given us an idea how our evening would progress. We had made a reservation one week in advance for a CD release party and we were seated two rooms from the venue. We were then informed by others that they had only made their reservations that Saturday; yet they were seated in the "venue" room. We spoke with the management but basically was told what's done is done, and apologies were made. Our table placed our orders and I was brought someone else's dish for another table. Upon being served, I thought I received my chicken caesar salad, but it had no chicken. I informed them I would just keep the caesar salad I was served but wanted my meal comped; which they did. Several minutes later, a chicken caesar salad is being delivered to my table! Worst dining experience and don't think we'll visit this establishment in the future.

I was hungry for spaghetti so I made my first and last trip to the Italian bowl. The restaurant looked very nice but was very dark. I had called in my order and was a little early so I was waiting for it to get ready. The waiter brought me my bill a started to explain to me what Bolognese was. He said I don't want you to be confused by the name Bolognese it is meat sauce. Like I was some sort of an idiot. I had also ordered a salad with it. The amount of spaghetti was overwhelming and it was good. When I got home and look at the salad the lettuce had been frozen what little salad there was. When I called and spoke to the manager all he could say was I don't see how it could be we just put the lettuce out. Which did not sit well with me like I would be lying about it. And I assumed which was incorrect that garlic bread would be served with it and was told you have to requested which no one told me or asked if I wanted. So I told them that was my first and last trip there and I would not recommend them--at all.
