It is always great! The waitresses are really sweet.
Last night 4/9/22. I ordered a chef salad and paid for it when we left. Sam was our waitress. I forgot to remind Sam but I never received it. I hope I can get it when we come back. I promise this is the truth.

Slow service.
Fried cauliflower appetizer came at the same time as the salads.
Salads were fresh but needed bacon or ham toppings. Ample salad dressings were provided.
Fried chicken was hot and delicious and the broccoli steamed perfectly.
Tea was sweetened just right!
Plan to return to try one of the weekly specials.

The food is wonderful! Home made NOT Food service frozen food. It's a family atmosphere, where the waitresses know the regulars that come in. You feel like you are important . Sometimes you have to be patient because of understaffing, but I think it's mostly due to the government shutdowns. Waitresses have to find other employment to make a living through these times.

We love it, we don't go to the restaurant for the decor', we go for the food. For the price it's a great, freshly cooked and plenty to satisfy any appetite. We usually have to ask for to go boxes.
The service is great, always friendly but if you are in a hurry you'd better call in advance and have it premade by the time you get there as the poor waitresses are few and far between. These waitresses hussle because they have to service 20 tables. I feel sorry for them but I'm sure at the end of the day it is all worth while for them when they add up their tips.
That being said, don't be in a big hurry when you sit down because the food is made to order and it will take 20 to 30 minutes to get your food. But it is hot, plentiful, and always fresh.
