I have had no problems with the food here but for three weeks now I have been trying to get food here and there has been no answer and stopped by not opened I think they are permanent closed if so they should let the customers know 😡

The bad stuff:
Ordered hot and sour soup for delivery. Price on menu was lower than actual delivered price. The young lady on the phone was curt and probably unintelligible to some people.
The good stuff:
Delivery was prompt and soup was hot. Soup was delicious, although a bit thin on pork and bean curd. I get this soup when I've been ill for a long time and I need just the right thing to get my strength back. It did the job, and I feel much better today.

Charged me for the order gave me someone else's food and hung up on us when we told them they messed up the order. Horrible service lately the food used to be great. I moved out of town and fought traffic to go get food. Only to get home and it's not even my order. Very ignorant and horrible customer service.

My experience was pretty bad, first was a delivery and this time was a pick up. This time they messed up on one of my orders. I order D8 which is chicken wings, fried rice, and shrimp with lobster sauce and they only gave us the rice with chicken. The fried rice is good there but that's about it. I would not recommend going there or any other Chinese restaurant they all suck.

Lets start off by how i called to place an order and the woman that answered (which sounded like a teen that didnt care and really wasnt paying attention) my food took over an hour and half YES you read that right!!! now i live literally a 5 min drive from the restaurant so there really wasnt a need for it to be that late it was a tuesday so it couldnt have been that busy. I called back about 3 times telling the young lady that the food still wasnt here and all she kept saying was he is on his way he just left im sorry. so after waiting so long i called to cancel and she said ok bye like um.. ok how rude. well apparently she didnt tell the driver the order was cancelled because he showed up about 15 minutes after with the cancelled order i was starving and i was 8 months pregnant craving chinese food badly. so i paid and he left only to open the food and it be the completly wrong order. so i call back and explain the whole situation to older woman who was very sweet and said that i could keep the other plate of food that they messed up on since it was there fault and they would have my right order right out to me not even 20 min and the driver shows up with a HUGE attidude didnt want to give me my food because he wanted the other plate and was giving me the dirtiest look like he was going to attack and try to come into my house to get the plate of food and just threw the bag of food that he was delivering that held the correct order of food at me.... like im 8 months pregnant how disrespectful he is very lucky my fiance wasnt home to see that!!! but that is the kind of service you'll get when your a dedicated customer for over 5 years!!! SO I REPEAT DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM FIND SOME OTHER PLACE TO ORDER FROM !!!!!!!!!!!!

Best crab Rangoon's around they don't put onions in them so the taste great I get the number 6 chicken golden fingers spare ribs and beef teriyaki just check the golden fingers are not over cooked before you take away :-)

This is my 2nd bad experience with this restaurant's food.. As of today they lost a customer.. Ordered D26 Szechuan Spiced Chicken, the chicken was rubbery old foul tasting... There pork fried rice tasted burnt and even second time around still tasted bad.. The amount of rice they put with the dinner combo is exuberant compare to amount of main course... A very dissatified customer..

menu prices are NOT accurate. after ordering takeout and hearing that the price was much more than expected, i picked up a menu when i got my food. to my surprise, the prices on that menu and the prices on this menu were identical. so i'm not sure why i was charged so much. the food was okay, typical american-chinese takeout. had to wait about an hour, but it could have just been an abnormally busy day. the employees were alright. notoverly friendly or overly rude. there was a little communication difficulty, but that is expeted. overall i probably wouldn't mind ordering here again, but i certainly wouldn't go out of my way for it.

I just made a delivery order and it took me 5 minutes for the lady to understand my address i had to spell my street name 4 times this place has great food but if they had somebody who is more sufficient on the phone they would thrive. Overall its a great place

This is the only Chinese restaurant that includes rice with their pu pu platters. The food is good, turnaround time still needs improvement.

I like this place better then most of the rest, because of the area and service at Gold Star. I dont like Wah Sang and China star in Lowell, because the Service and food are very Poor and long to get your Food

Great food! Great price! They allow substitutions and give lots of food. Usually enough for 2 meals. Highly recommend!

this place is the balls ,its hard to find chinese food cooked to order.i got 2 poo poo platters and 6-7 people ate off it,for under 50 bucks.the best part is waiting for your food and wacthing them chinese guys yell at each other,don't know what there saying but it cracks me up every time!

In my opinion this is the best Chinese food in the area. Unfortunately I cannot say the same about those running the place. I had a VALID coupon and they refused to honor it. They stated they did not want to take the coupon anymore. As a business owner myself, this coupon should have been honored, it was a typo or a offer made mistakenly, it was a valid coupon that should have been honored. The food is great but without honest people operating the business I have to score them poorly. This has lost them my $70 per week purchase. Unfortunately this has ended a 5 year relationship.

THE BEST FOOD. WAYY BETTER THAN WAH SANG. I RECOMMEND THE SHRIMP W/ LOBSTER SAUCE. I ALWAYS GET IT. ITS SOO GOOD.

Gold star is a really great place to eat chinese food maybe even the best ,they have great food ,at good price . i've only had two problem so far i've gone(and i've goon a lot)the first was i asked for shrimp fried rice and they ended up givin me shrimp fingers and the secong was under standing my question .i asked how much do the chicken finger bring and he tells me the price ,but overall its a great place

Bar none, the best place I've ever had Chinese food! Everything is mouthwatering and flavorful; I'd eat it every day if my waistline would allow.... We ring in every new year's with Gold Star! Best bet is to do take-out though; the place itself is nothing fancy, and it's not well heated

truly the best chinese food in lowell ......... i recommend the shrimp and lobster suace ITS A MUST .but some times they take real long to make the food so best thing to do is order ahead of time and the place really gets cold in the winter ,summer is best time to go
