I recently visited The Old Court with friends before heading to the Merrimack Rep. The food exceeded our expectations, with everyone enjoying their meals - from the burger and fries to the shepherds pie and bangers & mash. Despite the busy waitress, the pub's atmosphere and authentic Irish dishes made it a standout in Lowell. I'll definitely be returning for more delicious food and great service.

owners are always present, the bar is always clean, and overall just a great place to go to relax and listen to some traditional irish music

horrible place...bouncers are the biggest tools and service is terrible...other bars in lowell are much better!!

This place has an insanely awesome burger. I forget the name of it, but it had corned beef and a fried egg on it. If you go, GET THIS BURGER., you won't regret it.

There are many an Irish bar in Massachusetts, and a large pool of them are in Lowell. Of all the bars in the area, I choose The Old Court to frequent. The bartenders are very personable and right off the boat (or plane, as it may be!) The patrons are very friendly, the Sox game is always on and the Sam Adams flows. Don't ask for an Irish Car Bomb though, they may offer you a 911.
