My Husband and I so enjoyed our dining experience and the food on our first visit that we wanted to take our daughter since she was in town after graduating from nursing and nurse practitioner schools. The service was excellent as it had been during our 1st visit. The appetizers were also excellent as was my husband's and daughter's entrees. Unfortunately mine was not. I had ordered the quail since it was superb on our 1st dining experience. Actually it was so good, I told everyone about it and wanted to go back the next day. I was so disappointed with it this dining experience. This time it was served whole with a drizzle of something over its back whereas previously it was served cut up with like puffed pastry and a wonderful sauce. After trying to cut it up, I had it boxed to go. As I sit here looking at it, I see little hairs that should have been burned off. This does take a little time though not so much as to not do it. As a child, it was my job to burn any hairs on the chicken Mom was going to cook. It only took a minute & Mom was not going to cook or serve her chicken with hairs on it. Nicolette, do you really want your patrons to look at a whole little quail with hairs on it? Please go back to the way you use to cook and serve the quail dish.
