Joe D's is the go-to lunch joint for me. The food is always satisfying and won't break the bank. My top picks are the chicken salad and any of their tasty soups - you won't be disappointed!

This place absolutely sucks. Their food might be good but she has the worst attitude I have ever seen. Karen needs to be fired and I'm sure she would be if she wasn't the owners wife. Don't ever go here.

Good, freshly prepared sandwiches & soups. They also serve their own home-cooked meats & barbeque, which i havent tried, but which smell delicious. A great place for a soup & sandwich as they always have 4 different soups. The staff & owners are friendly & poltie, too.

I'm not sure what happened with the lady who left the bad review. However, the owner and his wife have been nothing but kind and warm to myself, my husband and all the customers I've ever seen them serve. When you are a small business serving your community and trying to support a family what would they gain by being rude to their customers.?I've seen their salads and they're a good portion, however they are not the jumbo monstrosities you can order at a franchise. Portion control is a key factor to good health people. If you need a trough of food go to Ryan's. Yes, the customer is always right and his wife probably could have handled it a different way, but it sounds like she was protecting the integrity of the establishment. This restaurant was a risk that they decided to take and is their baby, why would they self sabotage? To anyone that reads this, if you want a nice salad or sandwich or maybe just a warm bowl of soup joe d's is fantastic. If you need to fill your gut so full that you need to vomit and nap for the rest of the day order more food or go to S&S. Make sure you have your insulin shots!

Just got all the facts today. She handled it just the way any sane human being would have handled customers like this. Some people will never be satisfied and to be honest should not be satisfied. Go to Joe D's it's amazing, the food is great the people are wonderful and will do anything to please. WE LOVE JOE D'S!

I went today (11-28-12) to this restaurant and placed a order for the following:

Super Salad w/extra cucumbers, jalapeno, pickles. & instead of ham, i asked for double turkey. I made this order to go. When i returned to my office to eat my salad, i was SOOOOOO disappointed disgusted and mad ALL at the same time-my SUPER Salad that i paid $8.61 for(they charge .60 cent for each extra topping!!!!) barely had anything on it, it was MORE lettuce than topping, i was so disappointed, so i p/u the phone and asked to speak with the manager (Joe) came to the phone and he was so nice and polite and he basically asked me to come back today to bring in the salad and i told him I couldn't because I had returned back to my job and couldn't leave out again, however i told him i could come by tomorrow on my lunch and just have them make me another salad, to which i agreed. We were about to end our call when this female voice came on the phone and was VERY RUDE, she said she was the wife of the manager and she begins tearing into me very rudely and nasty by saying the following: I saw the salad that was made for you and the way your salad was made is the way we make all the salads and we've been here for over 11 yrs and I'm not understanding what your problem/issue is!!!, Since i was at work in my office and unable to speak freely, i attempted to maintain a calm easy composure with this lady because it was clear to me I knew she was lying because I'm looking at my salad and it was NOT a serving size portion on my salad, they cheated me of the portion size that I paid for!! Because i didn't like her attitude towards me I stated to her that I wasn't going to debate with her and that I would be by tomorrow to get my money back i paid for the salad, she then says rudely to me: No ma'am! U WILL NOT get your money back nor will you get another salad! You have a nice day! & then she slams the phone up in my face!!!!! I WILL NEVER RETURN back to this restaurant establishment and let me forewarn EVERYONE: PLEASE BE AWARE & TAKE IT FROM ME, IF U ORDER THE SUPER SALAD TO GO, PLEASE, PLEASE LOOK AT IT BEFORE LEAVING THE RESTAURANT AND ENSURE THEY HAVE GIVEN U THE CORRECT PORTION SIZE ON UR SALAD THAT U PAID FOR!!! The

The wife of this establishment is a nasty, rude and downright unprofessional who WILL NEVER get my business and who WILL REAP what she has sown...I am a widow who knows who I AM and WHOSE I AM and this business WILL not prosper for how I was done!
