During intermission at the Opera House, I popped into this cozy spot for a couple of shots and a cold beer. The vibe was just right, with a great selection on the jukebox and friendly patrons who made me feel welcome despite being a non-local. We even had the pleasure of meeting a colorful character who may or may not hold the title of Mayor of Stoughton, complete with a photo from a recent speech hanging on the wall. This local corner bar exceeded all expectations and will definitely be my first stop upon my return from deployment, especially after the fantastic treatment they gave us during my holiday-themed send-off party.
