New management is absolutely awful. This is a normal bar spot for my friends and I and I will definitely be telling everyone to not even bother. The manager had an attitude and acted like everyone in his bar was a burdon. It took excessive waving of the arms to even get his or anyones attention. The service was just awful..not even one person smiled. The new decor is a designers nightmare. When sitting at the bar you have a direct view of all the people cleaning dishes and ignoring you in the back room. If you are hoping for the old Casbah we all new and loved, you will be greatly disappointed.

the casbah is amazing. the food is wonderful, especially since it has re-opened and there are more Morrocan themed dishes on the menu. The m'hamra is to die for, as is the bastilla and any of the tagines. great atmosphere also, with belly dancers on the weekend. service was great too. one of my favorite restaurants in madison!
