I was hoping for some great authentic cajun cuisine when I read reviews for this place. Was very disappointed though. I had a large red beans n rice (RBnR), small seafood gumbo, small jambalaya and large fries. It came with 4 pieces of corn bread. The RBnR was what I was looking forward to, but was the biggest disappointment. It was VERY bland. No spices seemed to be added to it. And it wasn't mixed either, I had to do it myself. The cornbread was fantastic. The seafood gumbo was good, a bit runny, but spicy and had lots of seafood in it! Not overloaded with veggies. However, there was no okra, and by definition, you need okra to make gumbo. The jambalaya was bland too, a little on the tangy side, too much tomato it seemed. The fries were the best part! I don't know what they cook them in, but holy crap they were delicious. If you've never had cajun or creole from Louisiana you might like this place. But its not quite up to par with authentic cajun food.
