I give this diner a 5-star rating because of its local patrons. My son, an AT thru-hiker had lost his wallet the morning he reached Stratton, ME. He tagged along with his buddies to this little diner. After overhearing of his unfortunate happenings that morning, one of the ladies there offered to buy his lunch. Another lady gave him $10 while another left, returning a few minutes later with a bag of food items for his pack along with $20.!! We don't know the names of these ladies but will be sending thank you cards to the diner this week!! If you know these ladies, please thank them for their kindness and generosity! God is good :)
