Went there for late lunch my wife ordered the lunchtime D. She started to eat and halfway found a small plastic cap from something as she was chewing, removed it from her mouth into a napkin and I called the waitress over to show her and the waitress took it away very quickly and came back and said they had no idea what it was from, offered another meal my wife said no thank you. So they took her meal off the bill, no one other than the waitress came to address the problem. I am sure there was a manager or owner there but never came to say sorry for the issue. My wife could have broken a tooth or worse than that choked on it. So be aware of what you order, check for foreign objects in your food!!!!!

All the food here has MSG (monosodium glutamate) which is salt and a flavor enhancer. Why add this if your food is flavorful and good? Go to either of the Thai restaurants in town who do not need MSG to deliver a fresh, delicious meal.

Ordered China platter and the rice and the appetizer platter were reheated and not fresh. The worst Chinese food I have ever had.

We ordered take out and the rice was so old it was grey and smelled like it was from a few days before. This restaurant is dirty and I don't even want to imagine the kitchen. I had often heard the locals say that they "recycle" the buffet to serve the next day but this was awful. We didn't get sick but we also didn't eat any of the food. Too bad to throw away $30.00 worth of food. We will never eat there again.

Best Chinese I've had in a long time. Ate hear when I was a kid, moved out of state and ate Chinese everywhere from Texas, Iowa, Colorado, Massachussettes, Florida, Arkansas, Ohio and even multiple places when I lived in Germany. Returned to Maine last year and China Hill still reigns supreme on my list as best Chinese food.

I have been dining at China Hill for decades because I have not found any Chinese food better than this! The service is great, food hot and service fast. It just keeps getting better!!! Try it, you won't be disappointed. If ever a problem, just let them know and they will fix it fast!!!

Food is not good. In a state where Asian cuisine is practically non existent this place is on the low low end of the scale.

SOO GOOD!
you get exactly what you want.
Great variety and quality of the ideal americanized chinese food, nice staff, and a stocked bar.
LOVE IT. I"m probably gonna go again in a few days. :)

I go to other places like this and it isn't as good as The China Hill In Ellsworth Maine. Go there is you get this way.

The only thing I can say about the restaurant is that the service was good. Staff is extremely friendly, prompt and polite. The atmosphere is nonexistent. The food is the worst Asian I've ever had!
