Ordered a cheeseburger and it was as flat and small as a burger from a fast food restaurant and I paid 6.00 for it. Never again

We visited Sunday at 6:30 pm. The grill was closed and the staff was cleaning. We were able to get some food and ice cream but we felt very unwelcome. One server was sweeping and banging the dustpan and broom. Another couple came in and left when they were told the grill was closed. Maybe cleaning could be planned for after closing. We won't be returning and we're staying at the Hampton and the lady at the front desk recommended Winnie's and wants to know what we thought.

Food quality (clams and subroll) was good except french fries - too hard, too much skin. Tartar sauce was sour. Prices are too high and menu limited. No basket meals, not like the old Winnie's.

Expect to pay a lot for a little. Who charges $18 for a pint of clams with no sides of fries, cole slaw, etc. I expected a meal for that price. And don't plan to eat in, as the number of seats are limited

Lobster Stew Anyone? Heard he was bringing back the famous lobster stew so I ordered it. "We don't have any because she is in Florida". Probably could have stocked up with some frozen and warmed it up , eh? Please don't advertise what you don't have.

Winnie's restaurant has a warm home feel to it and has an excellent choice of good American style food as well as fresh seafood. After your meal, you have a choice of a huge selection of ice cream treats that will bring a smile to anyones face.
