We were two, ordering: one fish and chips;
one fried oysters in the basket, both with chips and cole slaw. But for the fried oyster meal we were charged $3.00 extra for the fries! It came with actual CHIPS! Like potato chips? Huh?
I was put off, to say the least.
All my life at every seafood house along the coast;
fried anything in a basket came on a bed of French fries often referred to as "chips."
The Fish and Chips came with fries.
Enuf said? These folks need to go back to school !
