The Food! The Amazing Quality and freshness that must go into every item on there menu is apparent.
My favorites are the Korean chicken wings,the ceviche tostadas
The service was wonderful. Our waiter was so attentive and accommodating. It’s can be busy so sometimes there might be a wait but they will be expanding soon, so problem solved and they have recently added the pizzas to their menu, I had the Hey Sailor tonight, it was excellent.
The ambiance was perfect. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, full of wonderful art and the decor around the bar and the new stage looks like a lot of fun and is beautifully constructed, well designed.
Overall, this was an incredible dining experience.
My family and I have eaten here many times and will continue to do so. Do yourself a favor and stop by

Food is okay, but the attitude is horrible. Also, check your check! I was repeatedly cheated by 10 or 12 dollars. No big deal but it adds up!

I've (my full name is Eric Marshall Green) have never been kicked out of a bar before, but the other night I was kicked out of Hey Sailor's in Searsport after spending thousands of dollars there over the past year. I went because my wife loved the place, but yesterday, I was told never to come back. My crime? I asked to have the pounding rap music turned down a bit. The place was EMPTY at the time! The response? "WE like it this way, if you don't like it, LEAVE, and never come back!" I did not know her but my tip took her comment into account (5 dollars instead of my usual 25 percent). The original staff, who I got along with great, had all left or been fired months ago. Gee, I wonder why. Then I came home to this e-mail from the owner Charlie. His words not mine.

I'm really sorry I stepped out for a moment and exposed our staff to your behavior. We do not change the volume or type of music we play for ANYONE. I'm not sure how we've managed to stay associated, based on the behavior you've shown other restaurateurs in the area. I have zero interest in catering to assholes and I don't have to. Feel free to attack us on social media under your alias as you've done to so many others, I could literally care less. I've often wondered if the actions of the artist negate the art. In your case, from our perspective, it certainly does. You have many options in the Midcoast, I suggest you find somewhere else to dine. You get what you give, keep your miserable self out of our businesses. The world doesn't revolve around you.
Btw, we received more feedback asking why we would bother to display your art, because of your reputation in the food community here, than anything else of note. I actually defended the show to friends and colleagues, I'm very sorry I did. You've clearly lived up to your reputation.
In case I wasn't clear, you're 86'd.

Is this the kind of place you want to support? Apparently going there is a rare privilege, or so the owner told me more than once. He actually referred to me in writing as a (No profanity allowed) and an (No profanity allowed) And I received a free character analysis which I can tell you was far from favorable. Amazing. I barely know the guy. He was not there to witness anything. Is this really happening in Maine? Your thoughts please.
