This is a chain - but is new to Maine, or at least central Maine. My husband and I tried it out just last night. I'll get the cons out of the way... The brisket was dry and not good at all. The sides are on par with KFC - so mostly "meh". Price is middle of the road. A bit high considering the lower quality of sides, but on par with what you'd spend at say Texas Roadhouse. But here, there is no tip necessary as it's done fast food style vs. having a waiter. The Pro's: The service was EXCELLENT! Prompt and very friendly. The Pulled Pork was very good. The Ribs were fall off the bone and delicious. And you get free vanilla soft serve to wrap up your meal. They even encourage you to take it on your way out the door or one gentleman (manager or owner maybe?) even suggested we take the 32 oz "Big Yellow Cup" that we ordered as our drink - put some rootbeer in it and fill it with ice cream to make a float! The ice cream won't win any awards - but it's decent and FREE. So as long as I stick to my Ribs Plate - this restaurant is an overall homerun - and we will be back again!
