I love this place!

Yesterday (June 27, 2015), we celebrated our Anniversary at Gaffer's in Lockport. We've been there many times before to have dinner and we left satisfied most of the time. Yesterday, we were a group of 15 people and it was a most enjoyable evening, thanks to the great food and the personal effort of our server Lynne. She and other staff members made us feel special and welcome.
Even though everyone ordered different items from the menu, we didn't have to wait long for our food. Lynne was attentive and efficient. She poured the wine when glasses were nearly empty, she brought me my beer as requested with the meal (I don't like stale beer) and she even took a group picture of us in front of the fireplace.
Some of us had the New York cut steak and it was done to perfection. The chicken dishes others ordered were tasty and the ribs tender. And the Prime Rib was superb. Even the kids had a great time and enjoyed their orders.
The only complaint we have is about the breadbaskets. There was really nothing there, except for a few slices of bread as large as cocktail bites. Also, a small plate of salad to be included in the price of the meals would make a huge difference.
Otherwise, everything was fine. Thank you Lynne and all the others who helped make this a special event for us.
We will be back.
