After a long break, I decided to try China House again and was pleasantly surprised by the improvement in flavor and quality, especially enjoying the steam dumplings and chicken lo mein. The food is consistently tasty, reasonably priced, and perfect for takeout, making it a reliable choice when craving Chinese cuisine in the area.

Skip this restaurant. My whole meal was bland and tasteless. The egg drop soup had plenty of egg but instead of a tasty broth it was a gelatinous, yellow food dye color that coated your mouth. The egg roll was only half filled and not thoroughly cooked. The cashew chicken was just ok. Mostly vegetables and a sprinkling of cashews. Some of the vegetables were tough and stringy - unidentifiable. The fried rice was plain old white rice with yellow food dye color, not a sprout, onion or other assorted things I've had in much better fried rice than this. And again, it was bland. The only really good thing was the fried noodles that came with the soup: they weren't rancid which was a delight I've had from this same restaurant on another occasion. All in all an awful meal.
Oh, and don't believe the prices listed here add at least $2 to every item.
