This is by far the best Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. I always come to buy food and right away the lady knows what I want. Not only are the staffs friendly but the food is also delicious. I always get general tso's chicken and crab Rangoon and it's always crispy and not too dry.

Just have my lunch in East Cafe with my friends, the food is so good, I mean we ordered 5 meals to share, everything r so delicious esp general tas chicken and beef Lo mein and the crab Rangoon is the 💥 so good.

This was a desperate craving for Chinese food. Again everything lacks in taste just like years ago. There's not a stitch of flavor in their food unless it's the taste of dish soap, metal or some other unknowns. I ordered 5 different dishes and all lacked flavor not even the taste of ginger or garlic were found. The Crab ragoon appetizers were skimpy in filling & the dipping sauce was not real sweet and sour. They are not real authentic cooks. The dishes lacked the right ingredients. I'm Sorry I didn't follow my instincts and stayed away. Never again. Being part Asian you can't fool me. The cooks in this restaurant can't cook. Also lousy ventilation, you will leave stinking of frying oil even if your there a few minutes.

I had Mushoo chicken and the tortillas (Chinese version) was bitter and bad. When I went back in, the lady said it might be the Mooshu replaced the tortillas. The end of the storie is I paid and got bad food, I could not eat. The replacement tortillas tasted bitter also, I threw it all away, I'm not eating rotten food and I'm not going back.

Good food, huge selections, they even have gluten free menu and diet healthy menu. Our family love to go there for dinner and my 5 years old son love their LO mein and sweet sour chicken.

Never had a bad experience here. 15 minutes for any order, or maybe 20? on a busy night. Veggie lo mein is amazing. Never had a "dry" egg/spring roll. The bad reviews are pretty confusing to me ^_^ Been coming here for years. About to go pick up an order right now. :) Cheers...

After reading all the good reviews and one bad review I decided to try this place. It was horrible. I got the chicken chop suey and an egg roll. The vegtables were soft and slimy. The egg roll did not even taste fried. It was as dry as a cracker and tasteless. I won't be back.

All the food's are amazing egg roll's and spring roll's are crispy and good.Hot and sour soup is AWESOME pad thai,general tso's,lemon chicken, sweet and sour chicken,and egg foo young is excellent.Price is low and I lost 13 pounds eating the weight watcher menu.And the ladies up front is very nice. East Cafe is the best chinese restaurant i've ever been to keep up the good work.

Always fast service and great food. Prices are pretty fair. We always split 1 entree and a side with an extra egg roll for around $12. The food is always hot and fresh, and consistent. Our favorite Chinese food place.

we live near Upper Marlboro, but it's worth the drive to Dunkirk for great Chinese... counter staff is friendly and orders are always right... our favorites are the Pork Egg Foo Young combo, Singapore style Mei Fun noodles... egg rolls are always fresh and crisp (I really like the shrimp egg roll)... Gen Tso's and Lo Mein are always top notch... always a good day for Chinese with East Cafe just 10 mins down Rt 4... thanks East Cafe... you deserve the good rating...

Some of the best Chinese food in the area. Whenever we order, they get EVERYTHING exactly right, and even give an extra side of rice sometimes. They redid their lobby area, added some seating, and will bring the food you order out to you. Great service, AWESOME food!

I have been going to a Chinese Restaurant in Upper Marlboro that I thought was the best I found in a long time, but I found the food at the East Cafe was even better. Very Fresh! Plus I found that the staff was very helpful and friendly.
The only down side is there really isn't a real dinning room, just tables in a lobby area. (no wait staff)

Started out pretty well. Portions and quality were good and fair for the price. They have slid into complacency with poor quality on the most basic selections. My most recent take out was Mongolian beef. A few slivers of tough meat and a full pound of sauteed onions and scallions with garlic. Disgusting ! Too bad about East Cafe.
