The quiet atmosphere on a Thursday afternoon allowed my son and me to savor every bite of the flavorful Salvadorian pupusas and perfectly seasoned fajitas, made all the more special by the warm and attentive service. Soft lighting and gentle music would enhance the experience, but even as it is, this family-owned spot near Twinbrook Library offers authentic Latin dishes that transport you straight to the heart of the cuisine.

The atmosphere at Tomatillo is laid-back and cozy, with a friendly chef who prepares dishes promptly and serves them with a smile. Visiting on a quiet Thursday afternoon allowed my son and me to enjoy our meals in peace, appreciating the flavorful Latin cuisine. The menu, while tasty, could benefit from visual aids to assist those unfamiliar with the dishes, and a touch of ambient lighting and background music would enhance the dining experience even more.

Not mexican food, this is a Salvadoran cuisine. Their pupusas are ok. The rest I would not recommend.
