FIRE THE MANAGER - bottom line up front, I think this manager has a problem with African Americans or he has a personality disorder

This is the SECOND time that I have patronized this restaraunt and it is the second time the manager has been flat out rude. Yesterday, my wife made reservations to be outside in the shaded area. When we arrived, the temperature outside was a bit too hot for my parents who are seniors. I mentioned that to the hostess and I asked to be seated inside. She didn't have a problem, but then she had to ask her manager and then all hell broke out.

The manager physically looked and acted EXTREMELY irritated and started mumbling under his breath to the hostess, "you see how these people ask for one thing and then want something else" bla bla bla with a really negative and poor attitude. The way he was talking was like, he passively aggressively wanted me to hear what he was saying. He was talking under his breath like I asked him to move heaven and earth for my table to be inside.

I asked him if he had a problem. The manager looked at me with the sharpest eyes and started to argue with me.
- "NO! I don't have a problem, whats YOUR problem!?"
- well based on you mumbling under your voice about how people do this and do that, you have an issue with me changing my mind that we want to sit inside, why is this a problem?
- very rudley the manager replies - "I don't have a problem, YOU obviously have a problem! You made reservations for outside, but now you want to sit inside!"
- correct, so why are you mumbling under your breath like I am causing a huge issue? Im asking again, what is your problem??
I look at the hostess and she is just staring down at her paper and she seems totally embarrassed like he acts like this all the time.
I then say, let me make sure they want to sit outside because the manager was now going back and forth at me, literally yelling at me because I wanted to change to indoor seating. I just had to walk away.
My parents said that it would be best to sit inside.
So I return back inside to let them know. I return back inside, the manager is still talking under his breath to the hostess and he wanted to be sure that I saw that he was talking about me when I returned. Basically being childish.

He then says, "FINE! You wanna sit inside!?!" He frustratingly grabs the menus and silverware and walks passed me to a table right next to the front door and says, "HERE! Here's your table!" As he throws the menus and silverware onto the table like a child in front of my parent's and wife who have now entered the building.

They are so confused as to why this guy is acting this way. I ask the hostess "Please don't tell me that this guy is the manager." The hostess just shakes her head and says yes. My parents ask what was going on, but I didn't want to upset them because if I had told my father, then I'm not sure what would have happened in there. My father does not tolerate disrespect, especially from an establishment that we are GIVING OUR MONEY TO.

Again, this is the second time that he has been rude and VERY abrasive. The first time I came (the first day they reopened!), we were running a tad bit late and when we arrived, he had the worst attitude about reservations are for a reason and how we were late, etc etc. I just thought he was having a bad day, but I think this manager has a problem with African Americans or he has a personality disorder.

FIRE THE MANAGER - he is the rudest person I have come across in a long long time.
