I have been a long-time fan of Mt. View for over 30 years, enjoying their delicious food and ice cream. The classic atmosphere and extensive menu always make for a satisfying dining experience that never disappoints. Despite a recent visit with some minor service issues, I still look forward to returning to this Hampden institution every summer for their tasty offerings.

There's something about the hamburgers at the Mountain View Drive-in that makes them delicious!
The patties are a bit smaller than some places, but the flavor is huge! I usually order the hamburg special (lettuce, tomato & mayo) and curly fries.
The small curly fries are enough to share and they are outstanding! The prices for the hamburgers and fries are very reasonable.
The Mountain View also has "mile long " hot dogs which are another favorite of mine.
On Friday, Fish and Chips are served and if you would like a beer or glass, they have a liquor license.
Try this Hamden, MA establishment; you won't be disappointed!

Just got back. Ordered whole clams that came out flat and burnt to a crisp. There were so many crumbs at bottom. Ended up throwing them out. They were uneatable. For the price I expected quality.
