Every weekday morning, this bustling downtown McAllen eatery runs at near full speed, serving up homemade Mexican breakfast with a comforting, abuela-style touch that hits the spot every time. From the perfectly brewed cafecito to the unbeatable salsas that could double as drinks, the friendly service and delicious dishes like barbacoa and huevos rancheros keep me coming back for more-weekend strolls afterward just seal the deal.
