After years away, I found Asian Grill to be even better than I remembered. The crispy prawn entrí©e and tiger rolls were outstanding, and the yellow and green curries remain my favorites in The Valley. The atmosphere is elegant and comfortable, complemented by friendly service, making it an ideal choice for a relaxing meal.

Why was my review not shown? Was it because I didn't leave my name? My review was relevant and should have been shown. I take offence.

Horrible customer service right from the start.
My sister invited me and a friend for a girl's night out. We were excited to try Asian Grill. We all eat many varieties of Asian food as well as make it at home.
The waitress took 1 drink order, but walked away when I tried to order mine. I don't know if it was the acoustics in the space, but she acted like me and my sister weren't even there. I'm 5'8" and over 300 lbs. Hard to miss.
We order crispy tofu, crispy prawns, a steak dish, fried spring rolls, and one other dish I can't remember even what it was. We then waited over an hour. No check in, no communication, nothing. Not even a small glass water refill.
Finally, the spring rolls came out 1st of course. They were black on the ends and in the inside filling was barely chewable. My friend tried so hard to eat the dish but we just couldn't. When the waitress came back with 2 more plates, we asked her to have the Spring rolls remade. She responded with "that's how Spring rolls are made here, each 1 will come out looking the same because it's rice paper." We gave up at that point and my friend handed her the dish and said no thank you, we didn't want it's, and we'd like to have it removed from our ticket. Her response was to turn and walk away muttering we would still have to pay. The restaurant is open to the cook line and has an open concept. After she got to the kitchen we could overhear her talking to the cook about the returnd dish. she called us rude, told him that we were being unreasonable and that we were calling his food bad.
When she came back she arrived with the last 2 dishes, and we asked if she'd been aware we and the whole dining room could here her talk crap about us. She responded by telling us she had to tell the cook/manager why we sent it back. She left again, burst into tears, went to the cook line and then started talking and swearing about us. The whole restaurant was listening.
By this time I was lit, in shock and didn't even want to try the rest of the food.
My friend was even madder and about to burst. My sister, who had invited us out, told us to go and she'd take care of things. My friend left first. I made sure my sister was ok to stay alone, then got up to leave. As I was walking out, the waitress yelled from the other side of the dining room "you still have to pay for your food." I was already mortified at the whole experience, and this was my last shred of positivity. I didn't turn around. I heard my sister say "I'm still here, I'll take care of it." And I walked through the door.
I wasn't there for the end, but my sister ended up paying for all of it on condition that the manager, and only cook, would return her call. No one ever did.
My sister paid over $60 to wait an hour and then be treated like sh-t. All three of us are professionals in mental health field, and in our primes, were part of the food service industry. What happened last night is inexcusable. I will never go back. Dont suggest you do either.
