There is no place in Memphis that serves fish like Baymon's! The fried okra is perfect as well. Moreover, they are very customer oriented.

LOVE, absolutely LOVE, shopping at this market especially for my frog legs. Courteous Christian family that greets and treats their customers with respect and a fun loving group that makes the shopping experience pleasant.

I am a long time customer of this business, but as I saw someone else mentioned, they are enticing customers to purchase the entire fish.
you pay for the head and fins. In my case, I order big boned Buffalo and when the meat cutters clean and began dressing the fish, the rib portions of the fish and wrapped. The smaller sections of the fish are placed on the ice in the cooler, to resell. I went to another fish market in Memphis and told one of the workers about Baymons procedure and he said that is "theft".

I went to this fish market to purchase a whole catfish. The worker weigh the fish and charge me for the whoke fish frim the head to the tail. When I made it home that when I notice the the worker keep some of my fish the nuggets part and most of the tail. I did notice the worker was cutting the nuggets part off and I was wondering why was she removing that part off. I assume she was going too give it all to me since I paid for the while entire fish. This company is so wrong to keep the customers fish after you have paid for it. I was not asked whether or not I wanted it which was YES. But if they continued to keep everybody fish. That is a nice some of fish they can sell or cook from the profit of their customer"s which is illegal to steal from their customer's. Keep in mind that you paid your money to feed yourself not others. The owner gave me some yellowish brown rotten fish that will kill anybody who try to eat it. I had to threw it in a dumpster to strong to put in your own garbage can. And this was in the gkass case with fresh fish. WOW!!!
