Restaurant Description
The Boiling Point specializes in fresh raw Louisiana oysters on the half-shell, as well as, heaps of spicy crawfish piled high on corn, andouille sausage, and new potatoes. Fresh fish arrives throughout the week, giving people that gulf fresh delight that landlocked communities rarely get to eat. The Boiling Point serves everything from fried, broiled, barbecued, blackened, grilled, roasted, and of course, boiled seafood. Hungry locals order southern specialties such as fried alligator, frog legs, and fried dill pickles regularly.

Went to Boiling Point on a Monday night w/ a party of 8. Our waiter was slow and didnt seem to be in a hurry to get our food out. People around us had got their food wayyyy before we did. After being there over 1 1/2 hours. Everyone food came out cold( steak, baked potatoes, frog legs, crab cakes & etc), the only warm food was the pasta. So the manager came over but with many excuses. However he tries to make it right. It took over than hour for our food to come out a second time then is when the waiter refresher our drinks for the first time.......After 3 hours we got our food again they my grandmother order was wrong! Pure craziness!!!
12/30/2012 - Louisiana Cajun Rating
The wife asked to go to this place, which was a mistake. I am a Cajun, and I grade the food as poor. I feel ashamed that this place serves food, they call “Cajun food” which is prepared poorly! The tobacco smoke inside is bad, you will need your clothes washed after you leave. The people that visit this place are Thugs and biker types, so think twice, not a Family place. This place should be closed down!
